Sick, literally.

I'm not sure what it was but something made me feel a little under the weather as I was packing last night. Maybe it was the fact that I had to pack for both summer and winter weather and try to jam a month's worth of stuff into two suitcases without forgetting something (I just noticed I forgot my American cell phone). Or maybe it was the steak that Luckbox treated us to a few hours beforehand because he was in town for a visit. Right before we left for the airport it finally caught up with me and I puked, begging that that would be the end of it.

When I got to the airport there was a pretty long line at the check-in but I managed to get almost to the very front before I began to feel very dizzy then started sweating like a wild animal. I walked up to one of the workers and asked him if I could leave my bags there really fast because I felt sick, but he clearly told me no. I could not wait so I just ignored him and walked over to the bathroom. He chased me down as if he had seen the next Bin Laden but I think his doubts were rested when he witnessed me vomit in the stall. I asked him to notify the cleaning personnel that it did not look pretty in there.

I considered calling off the trip right there but I didn't want to disappoint my family who were waiting for me in Kansas City. Luckily I immediately passed out on the plane and woke up with just a couple hours to fly before arriving in New York. My stomach felt fine, the sweating had stopped and I made it "home" without any further incidents. After arriving in KC, I made the traditional drive to Taco Bell and even that stayed down just fine so I knew the stomach virus had left my system once and for all!

Now I'm here for just Christmas Eve, tomorrow is Christmas Day and we're on a 10am flight to Salt Lake City for some skiing and to visit my step-sister and her family!
