A December To Remember
It's no secret that November was my worst month ever. Without going into specific numbers, I lost a ton of money but because I play overrolled it has no effect that forces me to move down in limits. I took some shots, they went sour, it happens. I'm proud of myself for staying so positive throughout the month despite constantly losing. Dealing with downswings is something I am becoming increasingly good at, though dealing with upswings is a lot more fun :)
I was really looking forward to playing EPT Prague but it's looking like I'm going to have to skip it because I would be missing too much in Berlin. The EPT is Dec 9-13 but I already have obligations on the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th. No more tourneys for me in 2008 but 2009 is looking very promising!
December for me will mainly consist of grinding at home. It's cold and no fun to go outside so I'll try and make the most of my time indoors by grinding out 70k hands hopefully. Also, we'll be starting the planning for the WSOP in Vegas 2009. We've gone all out this year and rented a couple mini castles, check out the pictures! It's gonna be absolutely sick to say the least!
For anyone who's interested, check out iPoker legend Nasr El Nasr's blog about a trip where he's gonna travel the world for 3 months. I have the same trip on a much smaller scale coming up myself in about a month, I'll blog more about that next time. Peace!
