I only have a few more days in Berlin before beginning my month-long journey to USA-Philippines-Australia so I only have a few more sessions to play before getting away from the game for a while. I've ordered a couple DVDs and even purchased a (non-poker) book to keep me entertained on the long plane/car rides. Man I hate flying.

I realize some people (esp Germans) are very sensitive with racial jokes. I take things a little more lightly and would encourage you to try it as well. I am not a racist and I also have no problem laughing at white people jokes! Lighten up!

In my opinion only jewish people can make jewisch jokes and so on. Especially when it comes to prejudices.
Btw, even the word race (Rasse) is problematic to use in germany.

Als Pole muss ich damit leben, dass mir in Deutschland ständig Polenwitze erzählt werden. Dabei geht es stets um Autodiebstahl, Aldi....
Ich kann mich nicht daran erinneren, dass jemals ein deutscher mit tatsächlich deutscher Abstammung zur Seite gesprungen ist und gesagt hat, das solche Witze diskriminierend seien. Sie werden allgemein toleriert.
Und um ganz erhlich zu sein, sie stören mich nicht. Ich finde das völlig ok, wenn kein böser Hintergedanke oder Hass dahinter steckt.
Kommt man allerdings zum Thema "Juden", dann schreien alle auf.
Wurden sie früher diskriminiert, weil sie eine schlechtere Stellung in der Gesellschaft hatten, werden sie heute dahingehend diskrimiert, dass sie wieder eine Sonderstellung haben. *Man darf keine Witze machen.*
Jedes Land hat seine Vorurteile. Die deutschen werden im Ausland als Krauts oder Bratkartoffeln in Lederhosen bezeichnet. Polen sind Autodiebe. Türken Dönermenschen und Juden sagt man nach einen guten Hang zum Geldmachen zu haben. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass man mir das auch nachsagen würde :-)

Yea, I kind of have to agree with anonymous on this matter. These photoshops were not really even funny, just slighty, sophomorically offensive.
