Bring on August

Monday was the final day of July, so rather than digging myself even further in the hole, I decided to try some cheap satellites at Pokerstars. I mentioned a couple weeks past that I definitely want to qualify for at least one EPT event this year.

I played a total of 4 satellites:
EPT Barcelona $5 + Rebuys - I built up an awesome stack then donked it all off on a horrible call. I deserved to lose this one.
EPT Dublin $5 + Rebuys - Never really got anything going for me. Had a mediocre stack for the most part then took a nasty beat to get eliminated.
Stars Million Guaranteed $11 Double Shootout - Amazing how many weak players there were. I won my first table rather easily then played for over 90 minutes at the final table. I lost AA to QQ (Q on river of course) to have only 375 chips at the 100/200 level, but did manage a comeback and finally won my seat to the Stars Million.
EPT London $38 - During the first hour I barely played any pots and found myself quite shortstacked. I stepped it up a level in the 2nd hour and made the FT with an average stack. I then took over the FT and got myself one of the two seats in the prize pool. I will play the $475 direct qualifier in a couple days.

Quick side note - Congrats to selecti for winning the final in Petrovice! It's very nice to see a Poker-Tester member have such success! Nice work!
