May Recap
May Recap:
Total earnings: $4643.79
I am expecting a rakeback payment of around $400, which should bump my total to $5k for the month. The main reason why this result is lower than Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr is due to the fact that I did not log as many hours at the tables. My trip to America took a slight bit off my monthly earnings, but I wouldn't trade the time I had with my family for $100k.
I only have a couple small trips planned in June (including 2 World Cup matches), but it should not take too many days out of my playing schedule. My goal is to make at least $6000 profit in June, not including rakeback or bonuses. I plan on doing this by adding cash games more into my daily routine, I have not yet decided whether I would rather be playing shorthanded or longhanded. I will most likely mix it up a little.
When I review my statistics over the last months, I notice that my hourly rate even at $1/2 NL is significantly higher than my hourly rate at the $55 SNGs. I will begin to phase out the $55 SNGs out of my daily routine, not immediately, but gradually, and see how the month treats me. I'd also like to wish good luck to the readers of my blog for the month of June!
Wednesday: +$409
84 players entered the 10pm $109 MTT at CelebPoker, in which I finished 5th place for $672. I want to win this tournament at least once, if not twice, in June. Add that to my list of goals in June.
