Some ridiculous shit went down today and I am still in disbelief. Obviously the cards aren't going to go for you every day, but cards going against you is something different. I almost wanted to puke when I would watch my KK go up into flames against AQ all three times they squared up today. I almost had to puke when I watched myself bubble, and bubble, and bubble, and bubble. I was around $900 in the hole when I stopped playing the SNGs.
At 8pm I joined the $20+2 HU MTT at Pokerstars. 128 players were there total (Sutti as well). I pretty much cruise controlled through my first few heads up matches and got lucky one round when my opponent was sitting out the whole time. When we were down to only four players, amazingly, Sutti was still in as well! Then we were paired against each other. We had decided in advance that we would just pick a hand and go all in, that way there would be no battle. I won the coinflip and was sent to the final! 1st place paid $768, 2nd place paid $480.60. My opponent was weaker than expected I managed to get all my chips in on this hand:

It didn't take me too long to lose to him after this. It's a horrible feeling to be so close to victory only to have the chips ripped away and sent to your opponent's stack. It's much worse than being behind the whole way. At least that $460 took a chunk out of my losses for the day, but it was definitely not enough to cover the wound.
