Getting out of the funk

Well I guess that's a step in the right direction. I was busy with work and such all day so I did not get to play too much poker. When I got home at 10:30pm, I started playing some SNGs and it seemed like it picked up right where it left off yesterday. I lost the first 4 in a row before making one 3rd place cash.

In the $215 SNG, I played very well and made it to heads up with even stacks. So far, I lost all three of these when I have made it heads up. I though today might be different, as my opponent began talking a lot of trash. He had me outchipped, then I took a big lead, couldn't finish him off and we were even again. I was then dealt Q7s in my BB. He completed and I checked a flop of QT2, with the intention of a check/raise all in. He checked behind and then turn came T. I checked once again, although it felt like the wrong play. He bet 3200 into a 1600 pot and I immediately pushed, which he immediately called with KT. Oops. River K and I missed the chance to win $1k yet again. The $600 did bring me back into positive numbers for the day, even if it only is $93.
