My streak continues...

Day 3:
I continued to work on my monthly goals today and for the third day in a row it went very successful. I decided to work on my shorthanded game, so I played some 1/2NL shorthanded tables. I only played two short sessions but I was able to make some money doing so. Of all hold'em games, I think shorthanded ring games are the ones where I see the biggest room for improvement in my game. I will hopefully get to play a lot throughout this month to improve my skills.

I then hopped over to the $50+5 full table SNGs again. I am trying to play as many of these as possible, because I find them to be realtively easy to cash in. Many times these are the highest limit SNGs being played, which I think attracts sports bettors/casino players to play them. The quality of play is definitely generally not that great and tight/aggressive play is generally a perfect strategy for these. I played 15 of them today, and here are my results:
1st place - 1 time (+$250)
2nd place - 4 times (+$600)
3rd place - 2 times (+$200)
Out of the money - 8 times (-$440)
Total winnings +$610

I also played a few $100+9 SNGs and was even able to win one of them, so my tally at the end of the day is +$726.23.

Maybe I set my goals too low, because I have almost reached my goal for the whole months winnings in three days! Either that or I've got a humungous downswing approaching, which I really hope is not the case. I've also almost met my easiest goal, which was clearing my remaining bonus. I only have $10 left to clear, which will easily be achieved tomorrow. This entry is getting long, I'll stop it here. Have a nice weekend!
